Good pay but disorganized and siloed

Pros

Pay is good and not having to travel is a big deal. Some of the extra benefits are nice as well, like the professional development and thrive account budgets, and phone bill reimbursement. Overall bonus and benefits package is great.

Cons

Very disorganized from the time I got there. The business model is cannibalistic and weird, with incentives that have markets (branches) competing with each other.

Pros

- Slalom allows mostly remote work with a few required on-site meetings each quarter. However, if a client requires consultants to be on-site, then we must go there. - There are many professional development opportunities and they reimburse the costs of a variety of certifications.

Cons

- The company hired too rapidly during the pandemic and had to do two rounds of layoffs over the past year. - Because of poor financial performance in 2023, they gave modest raises, cut bonuses, and froze most promotions. 2024 financials aren't looking great either.
