At Smarsh, we want to drive change in our industry to be more diverse, equitable and inclusive, and we believe that should be reflected in our company's values, decisions and team. We have an employee created and led Inclusion Advisory Council (IAC), that has executive sponsorship and seeks to address ideas and themes for increasing inclusivity, equity and diversity at Smarsh. As you noted, we have increased our gender diversity in leadership, not only through hiring but also through internal promotions. We have much work to do, and the energy behind us to make progress

Smarsh has had tremendous growth and success over the past several years and we know your work contributed to that success, thank you! We do value innovation; your compliment on leveraging new tech resonates with us. At Smarsh, we take our core values (People First, Inspire Confidence, Embrace the Impossible) to heart and they guide our actions, big and small. What has changed in the past few years in going from 200 to 900 employees is how we see our core values manifest in day to day operations, because with that growth requires scale throughout the organization. Our private equity investors help us grow - both through organic and through inorganic (M and A) growth, and while we respect and appreciate your feedback we respectfully disagree with the assessment we use Machiavellian tactics. But we do value differing opinions and the right to speak them freely. Most importantly, thank you for sharing feedback and for all the contributions you have made at Smarsh during your tenure.
