Pros

In-demand product, many good leaders throughout the larger org, operational teams support the teams well, many great personalities that are a joy to work with

Cons

Marketing leadership lacks sophistication, EQ, and even basic understanding of modern demand generation practices and choose instead to invest the team's energy in ineffectual initiatives. This has led/is leading to turnover of top performers, and this will continue unless leadership improves.

Pros

Great office location in the heart of downtown. Email archiving product works for the small niche that they serve. The VP of Sales and Operations left the company! The marketing executive does a decent job with what he has to work with. There are a good number of quality support, sales, service employees that work hard and are very competent.

Cons

niche product serving primarily financial institutions, micro-management through out the entire leadeship team, very "clicky" environment.

Good culture but it's fading.

Pros

A lot of smart and dedicated people to work with. Plenty of technical challenges. Room for growth. Smarsh can be a fun place to work. Lots of good parties.

Cons

A recent change in management has alienated many of the earlier employees. They appear to be prepping the company to sell, and this has happened to some degree. Pay raises are practically nil for a small start-up.
