While our attempt will be consistent in this direction, flexibility may or may not be possible in all situations. Compensation is a combination of fixed & performance based variable value. A thorough annual compensation benchmarking exercise helps us strategically maintain Smart IMS be positioned above the market median for each given position. There is a possibility that individuals with compensation much above the market median feel about salary, however, majority employees have expressed satisfaction on the compensation aspect. Our attempt is to maintain fairness w.r.t similar salaries for similar role holders as far as possible. While satisfying each employee on compensation matters might be a challenge, however, maintaining fairness for the larger population (of employees) is important, thus, preserving the wonderful organizational culture at Smart IMS.
