Pros

I was promoted within 6 months so there is room for advancement here if you show the desire and competence.

Cons

They don't pay attention to who is doing what work, as long as the team completes the project, so this allows for some team members pulling all the weight while some just sit there and look pretty but still gets credit.

It's a frustrating place to work

Pros

The testing team is solid. There are good committed people working for this company.

Cons

There is a lot of low quality code that is awkward to work with. It's time consuming to complete fairly simple tasks there. They rewrote their main application last year. It was a disaster. This application is already loaded with technical debt. Most of the developers in the company quit while working on this project because the decision making from the architect was so poor.
