Dead end job where management doesn't care about employees

Pros

- Kind, helpful, knowledgeable colleagues. - Good salary and working conditions

Cons

- No opportunities for further development (training) or promotion. Job basically felt like a dead end. - Boring, repetitive, fairly meaningless tasks. - Political tension between offices in Vienna and London (real reason for huge lay-offs in Vienna) - Mass firing of employees on a regular basis "to save costs"

Pros

Great exposure due to the nature of products and services. Great work flexibility. Focused specialized domain. Company strives for positive changes. Strong new high management.

Cons

Small sized company. Limited options for growth. Very specialized domain. Products need major updates. Poor QA. Poor HR. Average wages. (The salary you start with .. most likely .. You will end up with!) Lots of Politics! (Regions are managed by Sales)

Technology wise good, policies are very bad

Pros

1) Product portfolio is very good. Have strong customer base. 2) Latest technologies, frameworks are used. 3) Can get opportunity to work on End to end product development.

Cons

1) No cafeteria. 2) Bad Politics between India and UK offices which affects product development and its quality. 3) Very bad HR policies (especially wrt. Notice period). 4) Less no. of annual leaves. 5) Importance given to only short term goals. 6) No trainings. 7) Micro management in all teams.
