It was alright

Pros

You learn a lot about working at the restaurant because most will eventually get trained in all the stations throughout the store.

Cons

The management was always inconsistent and said things and usually wouldn't go through with it, especially regarding raises. You never really got those unless you moved up the chain of command.

It depends on the location

Pros

1 free meal per 7hr shift up to $10 employees responsible for remaining balance after $10 when applicable. It was fun making puns with the word smash or smashing.

Cons

Always standing, must meet monthly training requirements through online business web portal. (It's usually a very long winded video that u have to take a quiz on after watching it) upper management is God awful. The wait staff tends to leave without foiling there cleaning duties in BOH as well as most of the prep for FOH that is also part of there job. Off clock employee discount is 10% off. Only pays minimum wage and they employ mostly younger staff so most of the staff is between the ages of 16-25 even with the cashiers needing to be 21+ as they surve alcohol. (Atleast they did when I worked for the company and at the location I worked at for over a 19months)
