not a meritocracy, long-time government employees who have never worked anywhere else are threatened by outsiders with competency, government bureaucracy at its worst, don't play from the bench,

Learning culture. Diverse staff from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, interesting and fulfilling projects and initiatives.

Cons

Museums and central staff are isolated and not well integrated with each other. Depending on where you work, commuting can be a challenge.
