Pros

Fun job, for the most part. Meet lots of interesting people. Get to play with all the new tools. The conventions are great. You can make good money if you're a great salesman.

Cons

Extremely long hours. Salaried, so you are always on dutie. Commission/incentives are often hard to reach. Not much support from local managers.

Pros

There are a lot of perks, although the hours worked are overwhelming at times. As long as sales are up there is little pressure from above. If you devote yourself to this it can be rewarding.

Cons

Hours...there is a lot of pressure from above the moment sales take a dip. I was treated with harsh words from my superiors when things didn't go as they expected.
