Pros

Work from home, flexibility, ability to make own schedule, great brand recognition. 401k, pension plan and stock buying options.

Cons

Need to improve technology tools available to sales reps. Recent changes to the commission structure do not support the current business trends or market outlook. Sales people wear too many hats which takes away from selling time. Compensation is 60 to 75k depending on territory. The car allowance compensation policy need to be restructure to reflect the job demands, gas prices, wear and tear on vehicle. The feeling among employees is that we no longer work for Snap-on or our to provide solutions to our customer needs; we now work for Wall Street.

Pros

Excellent benefits, Guaranteed 40 hours a week, Awesome coworkers, Pay not bad, Lot of OT.

Cons

Hard to get ahead in the company, Once your hired in the company you can't bump a temporary employee from 1st shift to 2nd. I was hired on 1st shift and that's why I took the job because I wanted 1st shift but about 6 months after getting hired into the company I got transferred to 2nd and that is not the shift I had put in for and it also took me 18 months to get hired into the company. I was a temporary employee for 18 months. Also it seems hard for some management to say Job Well Done to their employees.
