Pros

Best products and programs in the professional tool industry, great benefits...

Cons

Even with above average performance, age is a problem here. Younger melenial employees with way less experience are always promoted first. Huge politics in advancement. Little concern for employee moral. Take it or leave it attitude. Many decisions made by managers that have never done the job nor do they ask you your opinion. Little regional dynasties in each region. Zero employee support from HR locally or from corporate. Very sad as this is a great company.....

Pros

(2) Weeks vacation first year of employment, (3) Weeks vacation after three years of service, on and on thereafter. Snap-On Tools product discount is very generous. If your are hired in a position that requires travel, this employer will allow you to retain all of your loyalty points with all the lodging, airline and car rental companies. Traditional perks assured. Management is very flexible with schedules. Compensation is competitive, considering former employers that I've worked for. Also the employee stock purchase program is great. It has allowed me to easily save money. I highly recommend this company to a person who is starting to come of age in their career. When you get hired at this company. Your friends and family will say "you work for a good company".

Cons

Some of the positions require a lot of travel. Frequent, extended amounts of travel 90-100% of your working weeks. You have to love the open road in order to be successful in any of the positions that require travel.

Pros

Own your own business with independence. A set route with assigned territory and list of calls. A proven sales system that provides keys to success.

Cons

Many many hours. Even after you get home there is still a lot of work to do. Hard to balance work and family time. A lot of money and start up capitol to buy-in.
