Pros

The ability to advance vertically and/or laterally. The chance to learn a ton! Every employee try their best to help you learn and excel. A fun and friendly environment. Benefits, challenges, ability to create your own solutions. You are treated with respect. Great overall job satisfaction.

Cons

No, I don't really think there are any cons other than those very small growing pains that every startup face. It is very exciting to work on those pains and fix them.

SnapLogic 2.0

Pros

Upside to this company is exponential. Unicorn in hiding is the best way to summarize what this company is at the current time. New sales leadership and team has infused the company with experience and acumen needed to take this company IPO in the next 24 months.

Cons

Legacy employees need an injection of adrenaline to realize what a great opportunity it is to work for SnapLogic and it's founder/CEO Gaurav Dhillon. Past reviews make the company sound worse than it actually is. SnapLogic 2.0 is a different company, product and opportunity than v1.0.

Very political, lack of long-term strategy

Pros

- Above average compensation - Decent work-life balance - Central location - Well-connected CEO - Intelligent engineers

Cons

Wasting funding on marketing when it can be spent on refining the product is not a good sign for the future of the company. Marketing jumps on the bandwagon of whatever the trend of the day is...one day it's social, then internet of things, then Big Data, and confuses the heck out of everyone including our poor sales team who end up frustrated. Using big company politics to get concessions from the CEO and stoking his ego is not the way to make a difference in a startup or add any value. Senior marketing people have left because of marketing leadership's insecurities, controlling nature, and highly emotional demeanors. Spending money like water and hiring the young and inexperienced just because they look attractive instead of experienced veterans with domain knowledge is shameful.

Hi Anonymous Employee, I’m not sure when you were at SnapLogic, but your post is not accurate. We haven’t had anyone leave our marketing organization in over a year. In fact, we’re building out sales and marketing in 2015 and just completed a world-class sales kickoff that was ranked very highly by everyone who attended. Our sales and marketing teams are aligned and our company is focused on delivering a unified platform to connect big data, cloud applications and APIs faster. We’re also hiring in engineering. You can see all of the open positions at SnapLogic here: http://www.snaplogic.com/about-us/jobs Regards, SnapLogic Team
