Pros

innovative company and good benefits. IPO coming soon (everyone hanging on for that reason only)

Cons

Not the same environment since Bob left and new management changes all came on-- PLENTY of cronyism. Goes to show you dont need to know how to do the job to get a high position title job, you just need to know the right people. Upper management treats team poorly purely because of their higher standings-- if you want to get verbally abuse everyday, this is the place. Current leadership does not align with the company culture at all. Beware joining, it looks better on the outside than it really is on the inside

Snowflake of yore is no more.

Pros

Innovative company with a consistently dwindling store of awesome people. It was awesome and now, not so much.

Cons

This is not the same Snowflake of a year ago. New leadership is not what the previous positive reviews reflect. Service Now cronyism is rampant and not the best and the brightest by any means. Buyer beware. Do not join! It’s a place for current leadership to align numbers and flip for investors, squeeze people for all they can get and really only care about the short term.

Pros

Snowflake has a phenomenal product. The founders were truly revolutionary and built something that is differentiated and leads to great customer outcomes. For the most part, people truly care about the success of customers. The future if bright if they can get past all the turmoil internally. Customers should be excited about where the product is headed but should not get too attached to the sales team they are working with due to the working environment.

Cons

The external perception is that everyone in sales is crushing it but this is far from the truth. Most reps are not making anywhere close to the target yet externally recruiters are putting out numbers that are all world, yet no where near the truth. It is true that attrition is very low as most sales people are hoping for a liquidity event and hanging on for the ride. Massive over hiring has lead to very small territories (1-3 accounts in many cases) and a significant number of reps not making any money yet upper management is still making their quotas due to overallocation. Cronyism is at an all time high with a complete change out of senior management. Everyone is looking over their shoulders to see if they are next to go to make room for their replacement. Culture has really degraded over the past 6 months.
