Strong domain ownership and independence. Bottom-up expertise is valued and recognised. Bias to action.

Cons

Amount of paperwork is gradually increasing, and there's a lot more hoops to jump through to get stuff done than there used to be.

Cons

Management needs to improve their decision making. The US office need to understand they are not above the EU office if we have the same position in the company. The work keeps increasing but the salaries don't and there is a very strong focus on AI but the other aspects of the business are being overlooked.

Snyk continues to treat long time employees extremely poorly. After their latest round of layoffs (there have been 4 rounds in the last 3 years) high performers were laid off after the CEO continues to preach there is runway in the bank, and announced an acquisition the day after layoffs. Folks are worked to burnout, and promotions are based on favoritism. Sad to see the executive team turn what was once a great place to work so sour.
