Pros

* There are some extremely bright engineers * Interesting engineering problems to solve * Pay is good, if you manage to negotiate it well

Cons

* Low quality execs, panic and hype driven decisions * Secretive and questionable constant re-orgs and lay-offs * Benefits are mediocore * Forced PTO on predefined days branded as "recharge day/week" * Seniority is randomly assigned; low quality engineers working at principal level, senior managers and directors with no people or organisational level

Pros

Very nice and smart people to work with

Cons

The management does not manage the teams as it should. There are too many people who work in disharmony with each other

Potentially a great place to work - but doesn't quite live up to the hype...

Pros

- chance to work on a range of things - around some smart people - good work life balance - interesting domain

Cons

- way too much support work, wasting valuable developer time - lack of clear focus in what the company is even aiming for or what work we should be doing - feels like lots of hurried change and upheaval recently, without any discussion - no real focus on careeradvancement - there will be some major blockers in short to medium term, with serious risk to Snyk if they don't go navigate correctly - disconnect between management communication and the realities of working at Snyk - domain knowledge is inherently complex in Snyk but it's also disseminated poorly to new (and old) joiners. - if you join Snyk, get ready for meetings. And lots of them. And lots of talk. And little work. - potential for you to not do much at Snyk; could end up coasting and falling behind in your personal development - bending over backwards for every large / enterprise customer leads to never saying no, paralysis and slows everything down - too many corporate "yes" people in product management / group management positions
