Pros

Very stable (natural gas will be here for a long time and its almost impossible to be let go), yearly bonus, generally friendly people, nice building downtown, 401K AND a pension (which is rare),

Cons

Lower than market pay, politics, old school, likes to hire from low ranked colleges (LaVerne, CalState), advanced education is not valued or required, bitter life long employees, no progression at all unless you jump around from department to department (its the only way to get ahead), your title will be very "junior" despite years of service -which is to your disadvantage if you look externally for a job,

Lots of exercise, great pay, you would get gift cards to restaurants for doing your job right every month.

Cons

It gets challenging to deal with customers since you are going in and out of their backyards, you sometimes deal with dogs that are not properly put away.
