Super fast paced work, so you won’t get bored. Always pressing new technology, so you’ll always be leading the charge and discovering new things. Many highly qualified and skilled engineers to draw experience from. It really feels like the CEO cares. We have weekly meetings where the CEO generally answers questions live for all SoFi employees. You can tell when he’s getting a little passionate about what he’s saying, but that’s what makes it so fun to work here!
Cons
Some days, if feels like different business groups just want to keep doing what they used to do at their old brick-and-mortar institution, which is contrary to the very core of what has made SoFi SoGreat. It feels like the engineers have to sell executive management on the internal applications more than a third-party does.
