Pros

Benefits are great and there is always food.

Cons

Sofi does a good job making exceptions for certain people. If you are not part of the "in crowd" career advancement, bonus potential, and compensation are not something you will see no matter how hard you work. They have lost a lot of good employees over the last few months and more are leaving.

Pros

Great benefits, meal card, free insurance, bonus opportunities, friendly coworkers

Cons

It took over a month to negotiate employment agreement. Recruiter rarely responded to emails and calls and when she did it was usually days later. Would not hear from recruiter for a week then followup questions recruiter had indicated she was not on top of game to begin with. Once an agreement was made and I accepted the position, waited several days before the recruiter send paperwork to start the background process. What is wrong with their recruiting and hr team? On another note, anytime I've had to deal with HR during my time here has been like dealing with a team of sloths.

We're so sorry that the process didn't move as quickly or as smoothly as it should have. Since it looks like you're a current employee, if you have specific feedback that can help the People Team optimize the process, we'd love to hear more about it so we can implement and continue to iterate.

Pros

Good health care coverage for families and children.

Cons

ABUSIVE culture with backwards leaders. Most days are spent preparing analysis, no execution. Constant panic and crisis across most teams because of CEO mood swings. In one meeting 2 staff members (the most senior people who report to the CEO) ganged up on a junior employee and were bullying the person until they were in tears. If you fit a specific gender and ethnicity you are a fit for the product organization otherwise you are pushed out or pushed around . There is an “in crowd” and if you’re not “IN” it... watch out! ! Many employees are unhappy and actively seeking out new companies. Every week team members quit. Empty promises about creating a “world class culture” but no accountability for team or managers to build culture. If you like working in a demeaning and disrespectful environment with unhappy people all around, this is the place for you.
