      Leader in FinTech, fully paid benefits, weekly all-hands meetings, bright colleagues, everyone serious about winning in this space

      The commute can be rough if you don't leave in the city

      Out of the weeds, on to greatness

      Pros

      I came onboard mid-year in 2017 right before the board drama, I thought about leaving given all the uncertainty, but decided against it because the working environment, benefits and salary were really good. That said, I'm really glad I stayed, because the new CEO (Noto) has great vision and has been hiring some really stellar managers to help execute it. I am really excited about the opportunities and initiatives coming over the next couple years.

      Product management woes. Avoid at all costs.

      Pros

      Some great people in various teams: - some marketing leaders are awesome - some engineering teams are fantastic. Though a lot left with the old founder. - data analytics team is pretty fantastic and goes above and beyond. - new tech leadership seems hopeful and new product head miles better. - thankful to learn and meet great people who care about the mission.

      Cons

      Swimming through mud to get anything done: - horrible executive leadership team in general - less than 5 people on exec team of 20+ with tech experience - exactly 0 people on exec team with growth tech experience - product is the worst department to be in. 0 agency and 100% of responsibility. - introduced new GM model that created nothing but confusion. - spend 20 hours a week creating PowerPoints for stakeholders - HR team is embarrassingly bad they can’t recruit don’t know the market and organizationally atrocious.
