Most of what is said about the culture change is just lip service for the benefit of the media and investors. Under the hood, not much has changed. There is no transparent communication. Talent is not recognized nor rewarded though they have no qualms with piling work on you. Workers are considered more as tools for management to wield until they break. Still acting like an immature startup despite maintaining a facade as a legitimate company. No 401K matching. As an employee, I did not feel comfortable signing up for SoFi Money knowing how it was behind the scenes.

Have to drop ideas, projects, directions quickly and not get credit for work due to quick changing environment. Lay off handled poorly.
