Pros

The company is full of bright people. San Francisco HQ is gorgeous in the Presidio Exciting products and challenges to work on Inspiring mission for the company Enabling and encouraging employees to be a part of the change in making the culture more diverse and equitable Great visibility for the work you do

Cons

Can feel disjointed across different teams and locations but seems to be getting better Some brotastic energy on product and engineering, but they’re mostly relics from the old regime Too many executives in too many meetings with people who need to be using time to build the things

Pros

SoFi is fun place to work with a lot of exciting projects going on as they reposition themselves from primarily a student loan refinancing company to more of a full-service mobile banking/investing platform. Consequently, there's lots of work to be done in a lot of areas which gives new people the opportunity to get in on the ground floor. It's a younger, vibrant environment with very few contractors, so you'll be working alongside fellow employees who have a vested interest in seeing efforts succeed. Benefits are top of the line, with free lunches and healthy snacks, 100% paid healthcare, and bonuses paid quarterly.

Cons

It's by no way guaranteed that SoFi will succeed in this new, highly-competitive market but they seem to have a good strategy and new management in place, so it's worth a try.
