Pros

Free food. Nothing else really.

Cons

Very dishonest, they promise sick pay then refuse to pay it. They are bullies and go after employees they know are either in no position to stand up to them or are afraid of retaliation. They regular steal from the employees either by not paying them or making up excuses not to pay them. Their benefits are also terrible after 2016 their insurance is about 10% of what they were before 2017.

Pros

Awesome culture - fast paced, really bright team and great perks. Given the nature of the business we've got a huge number of priorities - but if you've got an idea that you want to push forward the execs are pretty accessible and open to creativity. CEO hosts weekly meetings with the entire company and shares updates and the vision for the company.

Cons

Multiple priorities to tackle at once!

Pros

I've worked at SoFi for about 2 months now and love it. At my previous company, I felt stagnant with little room for growth. SoFi is the total opposite. Every day I feel challenged. More importantly, though, I feel valued. My manager consistently takes time to recognize my accomplishments, and after performing well and showing strong interest in a particular project, I was even given a new role with expanded responsibilities! Hard work is rewarded at SoFi. The company culture is collaborative, positive, and ambitious. That said, each office has its own unique culture that varies based on regional differences and the departments housed there. SoFi has extremely competitive benefits, including an unlimited vacation policy that people are encouraged to use (really. No catch.).

Cons

The company is fast-paced, so it's extra important for employees to communicate what they need and how they're feeling. This is not a negative, but a reminder of how quickly things move at SoFi.
