      Pros

      Very fast paced culture. Numbers driven. Transparent goals - we either hit our loan numbers and get paid each quarter, or we don't. Good ownership - I know of at least 10 people that have made 7-figures on their equity. If you are good and deliver here, you will do well. SoFi is the best in the business, and totally killing it right now.

      Cons

      If you want work-life balance and consider being a good corporate citizen reason enough to get a big bonus, you will be disappointed.

      Pros

      Great company with an amazing mission to help people. The value to customers is so large that it makes it easy to get motivated. Fast moving company where anything seems possible. A very bright future.

      Cons

      The engineering department seems to play by different rules which affects the morale of the rest of the company in a major way.

      Excitement around where things are heading

      Pros

      The business is growing and there's a lot of excitement about where the company is going. A lot of this comes from execution from all groups, including financial teams, marketing teams, and ops.

      Cons

      There are lots of important groups and departments, plus lots of moving pieces. That makes communication challenging at times, and finding out what happened can sometimes be a function of knowing the right person. But the senior management team tries with weekly company meetings. I wish engineering and product teams were more collaborative and open with other functions, instead of being so silo'ed.
