Pros

I have been with SoFi for several years now and cannot speak highly enough about the organization, leadership and the teams around me. When I first joined SoFi, I was amazed by the expertise and knowledge of everyone here. To be honest, it was quite intimidating...but SoFi's culture will make you win, if you are willing to put in the effort. At SoFi we strive to "Make our footprint bigger than our foot" - this means supporting and teaching those around us. Bringing everyone up to the level of excellence our teammates & members expect and deserve. Now, I am teaching others, guiding teams and ensuring we are delivering the best banking solutions in the market. SoFi leadership is always seeking new ways to improve and pays close attention to who is putting in the work. This creates endless opportunities for career growth. It is an organization that values diversity of opinions, hard work and strong character. People willing to get to the truth in any situation and drive improvements once known. If you have these traits, you do well here.

Cons

There is no slacking off. If you are not planning to put in the work and make a difference, don't bother.

Pros

SoFi is full of smart, driven people who genuinely care about doing meaningful work and building products that improve members’ financial lives. SoFi is one of those rare companies where the stated values actually show up in how people operate day to day. The SoFi Way and its 11 core values aren’t just wall posters, they’re real principles that shape decisions, priorities, and how teams work together. There’s also a clear sense of mission, and it’s rewarding to work for a company that’s reshaping how consumers interact with money.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and priorities sometimes shift quickly as the business evolves. This environment suits people who thrive in ambiguity, but can be challenging if you prefer more structure or long planning cycles. Some cross-team processes are still maturing, which can create extra work navigating alignment and dependencies. Work-life balance is manageable, but it takes effort to maintain.
