      - compensated for the work done with refreshers/bonuses - given autonomy over decisions even as a junior engineer - great work/life balance - lots of learning/growth opportunity

      - work can sometimes be less challenging

      The future of fintech

      Pros

      Fast paced, customer focused and ready into take on the fintech world (if it hasn’t so already), SoFi is a tech company with a finance charter.

      Cons

      The BUs (business units) determine the charter for engineering teams. Unlike Faang, you won’t have the flexibility to choose engineering-driven projects as much.
