Pros

This role will allow you to truly benefit the clients served by Soar Autism Center on a daily basis, and see their continual growth and enjoyment due to the compassionate and humanizing care model utilized by each center owned by Soar. Soar offers a multitude of growth and career exploration opportunities for all roles, which become available very soon after starting at the company. Their promotion cycle system offers the ability to demonstrate and foster continual development in each role on a regular, recurring basis.

Cons

The only major con to the role of an RBT at Soar is that when clients call out, it can slightly affect one’s hours for the week. However, Soar does offer unbillable working hours to make up for this when it occurs.

Pros

I absolutely love working at SOAR and I feel like I have grown so much since I began working there. As someone who came from a very different industry I definitely had some concerns coming in regarding how different scheduling would be but SOAR really does an amazing job keeping schedules as consistent as possible time wise and keeping you with the same clients as much as possible. There are so many opportunities for support whether from BTs/RBTs, the clinical staff of BCBAs, OTs, and SLPs, or the center management staff who are all so incredibly willing to give support and advice to help you build your career short and long term as well as in the moment.

Cons

Scheduling is not super consistent! We do work with kids so call outs and last minute changes do happen but management is amazing at letting us know ASAP and helping us problem solve if a problem is consistent with scheduling. We do get in center support to help make up hours if needed.
