Pros

great on the floor team + good communication among rbts, very supportive environment as a technician. thats about it though. easy to burn out and schedules can be very inflexible. care teams are made without knowledge of clients and who they work best with. the kids can be so sweet! theyre worth it.

Cons

hostile supervisors, lots of hoops to jump through for advancement (pay and position), sick time is often hard to excuse (with doctors notes), trial data is tracked and can count against you even when out of your control

Thank you for sharing your experience, and for the work you did to support our clients during your time at Soar. We’re glad to hear that you felt a strong sense of connection and support among your fellow RBTs. That team-based spirit is something we value deeply, and we know it makes a meaningful difference in such important and emotionally complex work. We also want to acknowledge the challenges you raised around scheduling flexibility, advancement, and alignment between care teams and client needs. We are continuing to strengthen our systems to better support our employees, including how we build care teams and how we structure growth and promotion pathways. Your feedback helps highlight areas where we need to improve clarity and consistency. We are truly grateful for your commitment to the children and families we serve, and we will continue working to ensure that our teams feel supported and set up for success.
