Flexible, reasonably paid, kids are a mixed bag

Pros

The hours are flexible, the program is solid in parts and some of the kids are enjoyable to work with.

Cons

A typical day will have three or four sessions spread apart with long periods between. Some aspects of the program require far too much imagination and some of the children are too young. Getting 2-3 year olds to follow instructions they have no comprehension of is maddening and will turn your hair grey.

Soccer Shots Coach

Pros

There was clear communication from the franchise, and they obviously wanted their coaches to succeed. They were open to questions or discussing problems that I had while coaching and regularly checked in to make sure things were running smoothly. It was very flexible and easy to maintain the schedule while in school.

Cons

There were no major cons in this part-time position
