Pros

Very flexible work schedule (as a previous reviewer stated - you don't even need to show up to the office)

Cons

Generally inept management at both mid and senior levels; hiring and promotions based on personal relationships rather than skill or experience; decreasing quality of technical work; senior management are all part-time and rarely in the office; director level staff have limited experience, especially management experience; business development is overworked and not strategic about opportunities

Zero Management

Pros

The only pro about working at social impact is that you rarely have to go into the office. Since there is really no leadership or management, there is zero accountability. Work from home, don't show up - it never really matters.

Cons

complete lack of leadership or management, guidance or protocol. Most of the senior management team works less than 3 days per week. Employees are generally miserable - and most are looking for other jobs. Only work here if you are desperate, or just want to sit under the radar and collect a paycheck.

Pros

Great learning culture here at SI!

Cons

Not much really, I don't see why my experience here is bad
