Pros

Flexible time schedule, which in my case means come into work between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., you must work an 8 hour shift with a 30 minute lunch break. Overtime (monetary) or credit hours offered Annual (vacation), credit, and sick leave offered. You can bank up to 240 hours of annual leave that can be rolled over to the next year. You can bank up to 24 hours of credit hours that can be rolled over to the next pay period. If you have more than 24 credit hours in a pay period, you need to use it or lose it before the end of the pay period. You can bank an unlimited number of sick leave.

Cons

Micromanaging. Short staffing has lead to large and hard to handle workloads. Systems are older and there are a multitude of systems that could be simplified. Hiring freeze and promotion freeze. No room for advancement under current administration.
