Pros

Laid back atmosphere and steady flow of work. Great benefits such as PTO and sick leave allowances.

Cons

More of the work is moving to computer database, but there is still alot of paperwork to your job. Work hours have also been cut.

Pros

Met some great people. 8 hours a day. Overtime is optional.

Cons

Very Militant feel, guess that's how the Gov't runs things. Not what I had expected. This position is at the very bottom, the treatment is very poor. Employees are micromanaged. Some employees should not be employed with their lack of professionalism. Hence why the public has such a harsh opinion about SSA.
