Pros

Flexible Working Hours and Credit Hours. Weekend Overtime Opportunity. Convenient Location if you don't like to travel to Seattle for a federal employment.

Cons

Inexperienced Management. Supervisors don't know the job and afraid of talking to judges. No Promotion Potential. A lot of work with no appreciation.

Pros

Federal benefits, pay isn't too bad (especially if you stick with it GS 11) .

Cons

Most of the four month training was a waste and didn't teach us how to do the job (was based on a different job), changes to procedure almost hourly, more work than you can handle (but then they give you more and ask you why you're behind), low morale etc.
