Pros

Benefits, TSP (public version of 401k). If you like being a human automaton who wants to be micromanaged this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement: you are expected to take calls every single minute that is not a sanctioned break. If you go to the bathroom, management will question you about why you were off the phone for 5 minutes. Lots of lateral moves to positions with the same level of pay but twice the number of responsibilities required before any upward promotion. Leadership from the top down encourages managers to micromanage their people.

Pros

Upward mobility, if you are deemed worthy. Flexibility in work schedules. Good Pay.

Cons

Very clickish. Much like the “Mean Girls” movie. It’s a do as I say, but. Pretend you have involvement. Management holds grudges and can hold employees back.
