      Pros

      Flexible hours, license to practice law in any state works for the entire federal government, regardless of where you practice. Especially great for work / life balance and people who want to raise families without being chained to a desk. Opportunities for promotion, especially if you are willing to relocate (within the United States).

      Cons

      It can be difficult to get hired on, but once you get onboarded, there are a lot of benefits, including great healthcare coverage and retirement plans.

      Pros

      Ability to move up into better government job. Otherwise - as expected - phone calls are phone calls - and keeping under the five minute that is asked isn't always possible.

      Cons

      Breaks were on very strict time - don't take too long to go to the bathroom or you'll get a mouthful.

      Pros

      Lucky to be SSA employee, great pay, benefits, and hour flexibility. Happy as I can be with my career and employer.

      Cons

      Nothing I cam think of. Dealing with general public is always a challenge regardless where you are. Busy long days.
