Zero transparency and toxic culture

Pros

Permanent Work from home that’s all

Cons

Zero transparency, just get hired like a contractor and get ready to be fired at any moment. Pay is also not up to par; career growth opportunities are only for limited people.

Pros

I can't think of any. My experience working here has been filled with nothing but negatives.

Cons

Management constantly pushes employees to work insane workloads and meet unreasonable demands all while neglecting to provide any support, resulting in a miserable workplace where everyone is stressed and brunt out.

People matter

Pros

Socure is on a mission to scale and we are hiring new people everyday. There is no forward thinking when it comes to hiring because nothing is being done to retain the current talent. There is no real culture in place and no process for career development. The company relies heavily on OKRs, but despite this there is no follow up--we are a over a month into the new year and year-end results have not yet been communicated to the staff, Instead, there is a focus again to set new OKRs for the year and despite this being a confusing practice it is a also a signal to the current employees that the company only cares about setting stretch goals that are incredibly difficult to deliver on. There is no focus on rewarding employees when they reach these goals or a plan to deliver coaching/feedback and training when these goals are not fully met. Quite simply people matter and employees need more support. period.

Cons

lack of ownership from top executives and no support for employees. There is also no system to reward employees for the work they have accomplished. No career paths, just more hiring from the outside to fill higher level roles. No one is developing internal teams.
