Pros

Pay is acceptable Company over all is progressive with technology, marketing, and training for managers not for hourly staff.

Cons

Paperwork expected is ridiculous considering the time you are supposed to be connecting with clients /customers and hourly workers. New projects, audits are handed down 10-15x yearly by Sodexo and 8-20x yearly by your client. Stay on top of it all (with daily service )and a smile or your out of the club.

Pros

Sodexo is a large global company. As a result, employees get global exposure. Sodexo is also one of the top three companies in its industry, food service. So this gives you some leverage when you decide to look for other opportunities elsewhere.

Cons

Professional growth in this company is typoically based on an "old boys network." The upper level management at this company typically do not have the necessary educational background and diverse professional skill for their positions. At this company you can find a director or VP in the corporate level without a degree or the required experience for his position. Promotions are very unclear and it's based on the old boys network mentioned earlier.

Pros

It is a good place to get experience in the Biomedical field. I did enjoy my co-workers, but generally they were as frustrated as I.

Cons

Management is incompetent. They treat their employees like slaves and don't expect you to have a personal life. They are only concerned with how much the bonus checks will be. My manager would have been a strong contender in the Special Olympics. I was often forced to take Comp Time when I actually had worked overtime. The on-call system is terrible. Who wants to get out of bed at three in the morning to go in to change a battery.
