Its a good company with nice perks, but its adapting to the market now.

Pros

Salary in USD with a fixed rate (higher than the current rate in Colombia) Remote-first company. Lots of free courses. Competitive perks

Cons

As with any consultancy services company, the experience within SoftServe depends on the client. Though there is a talent pool, it is hard to find a new assignment, so there is a 50% chance that you may need to look outside when your project finishes.

Pros

There are a bunch of perks for people that want to settle down in a single company and grow. There are clear ladders to go up to and they support you through career changes.

Cons

Salary is not that competitive. Ladders have a top limit. They have been removing benefits for the past 2 years, indicating some issues with the business health.

Pros

Decent people, got along well with the team. Got a raise at some point, which was nice. Projects were actually interesting, not just boring support stuff

Cons

A lot of bureaucracy. The annual review process is a whole thing - takes forever and feels a bit pointless. Management was hit or miss, depending on who you ended up with.
