Thank you for your feedback. Our company has Ukrainian roots and has grown and become global over the past thirty years. On this path, the company has matured and learned a lot from others, especially Americans - the way of doing global business and excellent management culture. However, discrimination and inequality are never tolerated in the company in any way; we know that multiculturalism is our great advantage.

Pros

Was an amazing company. The company valued learning, precision, and thoughtfulness while being really human and supportive. It believed in less haste, more speed. The company had an optimistic opinion about technology and how it could improve the world. Sadly this did not last.

Cons

The place has lost its mojo. Its now just a revenue-race to the bottom, SoftServe had the opportunity to have an amazing differentiated culture and message and they blew it. They hired in SVP/ MBA types with no interest in technology and who manage purely by finance algorithm. Now they just hire & fire and treat people as disposable. Everyone is so focused on financial targets they have no time to think of new ideas. SoftServe is fast becoming a boring also-ran ISV. Its so sad it could have been a world class innovation power house.

Pros

1. Strong, intelligent people across the board. You get to work with a global network of very good people, particularly in technical capacities. 2. Good work-life balances

Cons

1. Inertia—SoftServe has its roots in tech and engineering services. There is resistance to advancing into disciplines outside of those. Digital platforms and actual business/functional acumen to support the drivers that move tech are neglected —it is tech for tech's sake. 2. Leadership—the leadership blows. SoftServe is privately held, and the organization can do what it wants. However, the founders appear to be hands-off, while internal power struggles at the highest level force significant layoffs across many segments. 3. "People" initiatives that foster community are geared toward people in fixed offices, particularly in Europe. Resources in the States are basically on their own. There don't appear to be many things for remote workers that foster connectedness with the rest of the organization. Other companies I have worked with do this much better.
