Pros

* Good salary and great benefits * Cool working environment, friendly people * Experience may vary depending on the client, as always

Cons

The Project Managers (usually ukranian guys) interviewing people from the reserve are always looking for freaking UNICORNS, in my experience, it's very rare that they pick someone. Unfortunately, it's irrelevant that some day the same 'softservians' were chosen to join the company and work on previous projects but now they are not worth the chance, and it looks like the local branch/management can't do anything about it. So... everything looks amazing when you just joined the company for the first project, but if you fall from grace and land on the reserve, prepare your resume: it's easier to get a new job outside than being selected and assigned to a new project with them, and this is just sad. BTW they dare to promote things like 'career change' and 'retraining' opportunities but of course it´s a joke, a bad one. People in reserve are ignored and laid off in their own area of expertise, do you think you have a chance moving to another area/technology?
