Pros

Softplan is a small company that sells architectural design software. The biggest pro was my fellow employees.

Cons

There is absolutely zero opportunity to grow inside the company. Your income is highly dependent on your territory as well and laws and codes of those particular territories.

Decent compensation. Good personal relationship with teammates.

Cons

Micromanagement, adversarial relationship between company and employees (lack of trust), authority based on fear, middle managers worried about assigning blame instead of solving problems. Huge systems being deployed with no automated testing. Call themselves "Agile" because they have whiteboards with post-its and stand ups. In the end, it's the same old waterfall process. Endless meetings.
