Pros

I work for a client R&D team, nice technical challenge, nice schedule, you can negotiate a good start salary, teams have a PM so your work is pretty much organized, no rush. If you have a personal situation they are very comprehensive about time.

Cons

currently we are located at one of Softtek offices, regarding salary and grow opportunities don't expect much... also company is very cheap with their infrastructure, bad chairs, bad desks, really small, everything was designed for like a customer help team.

Pros

You get moved from one project to another every half a year or so which gives you a chance to get to know many technologies and solutions. Softtek cooperates with IT superior schools hiring young students and renting the school installations. Softtek has opened places to work in small cities which gives you a chance to live in a small and not crowded place.

Cons

You get moved from one project to another often and you have to get used to a new client, new coworkers and new technologies used in the new project. A lot of restrictions in the tools you use at work. Good skills and hard work has no affect in promotion to a higher level position. Social activity is necessary to get a promotion.

Pros

The best thing I can see at Softtek is the muiticultural experience. Working with american clients it's very valuable basically because you learn a different point of view, work environment and work culture. There´re very good projects with a lot of Challenges. Softtek is a nice-to-have in your resume. It has a good name in Mexico and that´s very helpful when applying for other companies.

Cons

One of the downsides is that you can easily get stuck in a project and sometimes is very hard to move to other projects. What you want is not always important for management. You are basically a resource and not an employee.
