Pros
- Contractor support was great. Any issues or concerns were dealt with quickly and they were proactive about reaching out.
- Other team members I worked with were skilled and knowledgeable. Work was smooth and we were often ahead of schedule.
- Company I worked with through them had high praise for Softworld's work and led to me getting converted to a full time position there
- W2 option along with contract so you can get paid time off, benefits, etc.
- Work/life balance was great. Low stress environment compared to my other experience. This could be more of an effect from the company we worked with instead of Softworld themselves but they seemed to share a lot of values around employee happiness and burnout avoidance.
Cons
- Contract company so there is a little bit less stability/security there by nature
