Pros

401k plan, very little management oversight

Cons

My friend just shared with me that while he was working here one of the consultants made several negative remarks about various race groups, sat him down with religious artifacts and explained each one to him (I actually was there for this) he told her this made him uncomfortable but she continued, she told him that she doesn't work for someone of his race (Indian) and when he got upset and told her he was going to tell the practice manager she went and told him and one of the HR person a different story. Apparently the reaction by the Sogeti HR person was to take the story completely one sided as he reached out to my friend and even said that her husband threatened him. Do not work for Sogeti, I am quitting as soon as I can.

Pros

Great 401K only after a 3 year vestment. The position is great for your foot in the door. No skills required. If you can learn it you can do it.

Cons

No communication. There is no HR manager to communicate to, nor has been an HR manager in office for the last year and a half. Each leave after a month or two. What isn't being told to the workers? There isn't a committed company lead. Projects are an excuse to keep busy. Negative atmosphere - Not much Moral. You work at an office when the job can be done fully at home.

Pros

*Occasional opportunities to work from home *No insurance premiums

Cons

*EXTREMELY little opportunity for career mobility *Responsible for buying work essentials (mouse, keyboard, monitor) *Impossible for new consultants to get bonuses *No compensation for overtime *Provided manager ample time to know of my resignation, VP & Corporate held it against me and made my last day a week before I had requested, preventing me (while pregnant) to be denied benefits and a week's pay *Micromanaging Team Leads *CHEAP work events - Costco food that employees would have to prepare
