There is no guidance or career advancement interest from anyone, specifically from HR and Accounting. There is a huge disconnect from leadership and their teams specifically coming from these two departments.
Most people are not professional. They speak their mind in front of leadership and among teammates when the situation could be handled in private and leadership does not bother to solve issues or stand up to do their job.
If the CEO focused on hiring the right people starting with HR and restructured VP’s and managers, he would probably make it a better place to work. The fact that the company does not invest into attracting top talent and retaining their employees is a red flag.
Overall, leadership in Finance, HR and other departments lack what it takes to run a successful company.
No recognition or respect. They are always looking for people in accounting because that department is run by leadership who do not care for their employees and they are more focused on their own success.
