Pros

Car and base salary.

Cons

Job is not what is described during interview process. Constantly was told that I would have to work 60-80 hours a week if I wanted to be successful. During the interview process they talk about flexible schedule, but that is not the case. Also, company has very little support post sale and systems take a long time to install. Commissions are not paid until install

Pros

Growing, green energy company. Mostly enthusiastic employees at the entry level and next level up management. Reasonable compensation if you are a high level performer

Cons

Compensation - Delay in payment for sales personnel is unsatisfactory. No 401 match. Company constantly "moves the goalposts" in the incentive program. Personnel - Lower management and some upper management are so young they have little supervisory experience and it unfortunately shows. Upper management is only interested in management and has little experience and refining the companies policy and procedures. Policies and Procedures - Constant movement of the goalposts. Sales policies and procedures are inconsistent and often unobtainable. Policies are in place throughout the country as if the whole country was the "constant" sunshine of Arizona or Southern California and obviously that is just not the case.

Pros

Company car, little oversight which also means you teach yourself the job. Vacation time you will never get to use (but no 401k match). Somehow the company manages to hire good people to work with although they will all be short lived. A decent product you can feel good about selling when the company doesn't mess jobs up.

Cons

Unprofessional managers who give no support. Horrible pay, unreasonable expectations. Their model rests all the work on the consultant with no support, training, or guidance. This is a horrible model. The company is not profitable, as a result you will be underpaid for the work you will need to put in to pull jobs through. Pay was held when I finally left, manager lied to upper management about the terms of my leave. There is no work life balance and a poisonous negative culture in the company from management down who rule in fear. Top producers have one off month and all that previous performance is forgotten.
