Pros

Freedom to be a self-starter, big name in the industry.

Cons

Freedom to be a self-starter, big name in the industry. Also, low pay, high turnover, minimal employee training, little corporate long-range planning.

Pros

Making a difference in the environment, bestvreason to work here is their quality in their product in comparison to competitors but thats about it. They provide vehicle but they expect you to work 60hrs a week for a base salary of 30k. Also job description looks pleasant for FEC but they fail to disclose you will be doing 4times more task.

Cons

Turn over is highest i ever seen and managers dont last longer than 1year. NO room for growth because they fire managers quick even if they are top performers. NO Job security for anyone. As an FEC I'm a top performer and I'm not happy with my job i hate it. Been with the company about 7months and been through 4 managers and about 11 consultants have either quit or been terminated due to company changes. If you have a job that you dont like think twice because you will hate this job. I regret leaving my previous job to work here, keep in mind most of the reviews in here are from new employees who are barely in training. I wanted to wait before leaving a review to help those that rely on this reviews before making a switch. If you're a customer this company is great but even that being the case the company makes it difficult to sale their product due to so many restrictions. There's other better solar companies to work for.

Pros

Can't think of one, except that maybe when Elon Musk re organizes this bunch of numbers driven managers maybe there will be something good in it. Right now, numbers driven managers have run the company into the ground because they failed to institute loan purchase programs and we are left in the dust. Even Sunrun has better solar loan programs.

Cons

They will use new people constantly to prop up their appt numbers, they discard the Field Energy Specialists as they become burned out and replace with new ones. They don't promote within, they bring in consultants from the outside. The managers stalk you at Home Depot to see if you are there on time and track you through their GPS tablets instead of motivating you. Not very professional, so unprofessional. Their strategy is that all new people have a reasonable higher number of appts since they are new material and they have not been exposed to the grinding 8 hr, 300plus customer engagements expected of you per day for at least 8 months, 30 appts per month and 30 closings prior before they talk of promoting someone to consultant (Unattainable task). Sales consultants have a habit of not showing up for appointments even when they are required to even when unable to contact by phone. When they do show up they can't convert the apppointment to close the deals, they leave the customers hanging and don't call them back.
