      Don't Drink The Kool Aid! This company is growing out of control, management is a joke and customers are NOT a priority.

      Pros

      Can't think of any Pros to put in this block - there aren't any.

      Cons

      Hired as a lead generator with the lure of moving to outside sales in a short time. Rules changed after employment. Sales force tripled in 90 days and no one has a clue what's going on in the company. If you are looking for a company that has longevity, appreciates each employee and you can make real money... DON'T work for SolarCity. Upper management is feeding everyone with hopes and dreams. A house of cards will fall.

      High expectations for minimum pay High turnover rate No formal sales training Will not match your 401K Only contact with human resources is through email Expected to work on earned vacation time Company continues to reduce pay and force you to sign take it or leave it contracts

      Cons

      Like any fast growing company, there are growing pains that come along with exciting new developments and processes. The best candidates for work with SolarCity are people who can not only adapt to change, but help create the path to success.
