      Pros

      Solarcity has the superior product in its industry and an amazing ability to brand itself.

      Cons

      They excitedly promote any sales rep that does well, especially cute girls and multilinguals, leading to a bunch of managers who are not really management. The training is poor as well, it sets you up for immediate success with in store & in home presentation but fails when it comes to equipping you for long term success in customer acquisition. In a company that is founded on cutting costs to give the customer a better product, you can expect it to apply to your paycheck & employment, where employment in this company is burn and turn.

      Pros

      Awesome coworkers who understand what it's like to solicit Home Depot customers 40 hours/week (when I was an FES), positive environment, room for growth, paid training.

      Cons

      You will get burnt out having to generate leads AND sell in-home deals. Compensation could and SHOULD be better for what we do. Set realistic expectations for FES's based on their territory.

      Pros

      The mission is extremely important. The product for its offering is the best back by the best service.

      Cons

      Big growth means lots of change and it's constant. Training is very poor and limited. Expectations are so high and not taught how to achieve it so if someone once did it at Solarcity you better to.
