Pros

The culture feels hip, transparent and up to date. My bosses are so cool and understanding and reasonable. No crapola on this job. Been there, done that at pretty much every job I've been at. I get to interact with people everyday, laugh with them and help them out. It's a fun position and extremely lucrative.

Cons

Hmm... I get my phone paid for every month. I'm on it a lot sometimes, and I never have to consider it. The company has come a long way, and I anticipate continued growth. It's hard for me to think of anything I don't like. My co-workers are positive and we egg each other on to do better, be better and keep fighting the good fight to reach our personal and team goals.

Pros

SolarCity has given me the opportunity to work my way from a 12$/hr grunt to an overpaid engineer capable of making more than my parents. The people who work at this company make the office an experience one that I look forward to being a part of each day. EVERYONE I have worked with is caring, funny, laid back, and always willing to lend a hand.

Cons

SolarCity, like most startups and quickly growing companies, hires eager young employees and asks them to work tirelessly to stretch the compensation provided. By this I mean young people work harder and longer and for less. This is the target employee base for this company. In my opinion, this makes for a better workplace though, as I am one of those people who likes to work hard!
