Pros

Once upon a time there was a cohesive team...a symbiotic relationship between FES's and the FEC's that they support. This fostered an environment for success. Customers heard the same story from beginning to end. Then came TESLA

Cons

Management cronyism led to the downfall of a flourishing company. Compensation commissions change at the whim of executive management. Saw three different commission structures within 1 year.

Pros

Great vision to save the planet. Strong company with great product.

Cons

Terrible management. Quotas based on jobs sold and not jobs installed. Training used to be great but now it's mediocre at best and they teach a canned sales pitch.

Pros

Good pay. Ok Benefits. Met some really great people most if which are no longer employed by SolarCity.

Cons

Sales quota is difficult to meet unless you are misleading customers and/or using unapproved marketing/sales presentations. Those that make quota are put on a pedestal and management pretends they don't know about the misleading info they are providing customers. What you are told during the interview process and even in training is a far cry from what the actual job is like.
